Clothing Swap · 9-11 AM · Ranger Park Building (2726 16th Ave)

A clothing swap is a great way to refresh your wardrobe, share what you no longer wear, and help reduce textile waste — all for free!

Bring your clean, gently used clothing to swap with others in the community. You can drop off donations September 22-26 between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM at 4964 Simcoe Loop, or bring them straight to the event on Saturday. You can also bring them to the Ranger Park Building (3736 16th Ave) on Wednesday, September 24 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. during Bulkley Valley Tool Library open hours.

Trunk Sale · 9-11 AM · Ranger Park Parking Lot (off Princess Street)

Have a few items to sell but not enough for a garage sale? Join our trunk sale! No pre-registration required — just load up your car and park between 8:30–9 AM to set up. Even better, come by bike in honour of GoByBike week! Load up your panniers or trailer and pedal on over. Vehicles won’t be allowed in after 9 AM. Shoppers welcome anytime between 9–11 AM.

Blundstone Leather Care · 2-5 PM · Local Supply Co

Local Supply Co is hosting a Blundstone Leather Care pop-up event at the store between 2 and 5 p.m. Stop by with your boots for a freshen up!

Community Bounty Potluck · 6 PM · Ranger Park

Celebrate the harvest with a community meal! Bring a dish made from your garden bounty (with a clear label) along with your own cup, plate, bowl, and cutlery. Please arrive before 6 PM so we can begin eating on time. Families welcome!
We’ll also have a table for “garden barter” — swap extras like pickled onions for kale.

Join us for booths, workshops, music (by CICK), and food and drinks from Palisades Cafe (bring your own mug!). See more information below. Our celebration coincides with GoByBike week so come by bike (bonus points if you register for GoByBike week at gobybikebc.ca).

Repair Café

The Repair Cafe is a place that you can to learn how to repair everyday items with the guidance of knowledgeable volunteers.Try your hand at fixing:

  • Ursula from the Wooly Ewe will be providing demonstrations on how to mend your Glerups (felt slippers) (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
  • Mending clothing (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
  • Furniture and wood repairs (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
  • Small electrical repairs (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
  • Nadia from Zhu Faa Designs will be available to provide some basic jewellery repair (e.g., missing earring hook, chain link) and a brass and sterling silver polishing station (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Apple Pressing · 10 AM–3 PM

MASH will be pressing apples! Bring late-season apples and clean jars for your juice. **UPDATE: All of the time slots to get apples pressed are filled**

Apple Cider Vinegar Demo · 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM

Laurie from MASH will walk you through how to make vinegar from apple scraps. There is space for 8 participants per demo. The first two sessions will be open to walk-ins. To sign up for the last session at 2:30 p.m., click here.

Paper Mache Demonstration 11 AM-12:30 PM

Learn paper mache with Ali from Nature’s Pantry. Fun for all ages!
