Saturday, September 27 – Ranger Park – 9-11 AM
- Bring clothes you no longer want (Men’s, Woman’s and Children’s welcome) for the clothing swap
- If you want to drop your clothes off before the swap, you can bring them to 4964 Simcoe Loop between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. September 22-26, or you can bring them to the Ranger Park building (3736 16th Ave) during the Bulkley Valley Tool Library open hours, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday night.
- Pack your bike panniers or the trunk of your car with items to re-sell (garage sale style) at our trunk/pannier sale
- Bring cash for purchases
Saturday, September 27 – Local Supply Company – 2-5 PM
- Bring your Blundstones for a “freshen up” and to learn about leather care
Saturday, September 27 – Ranger Park – 6 PM
- Bring a dish for sharing featuring local ingredients or extra garden bounty
- Bring a cup, plate and utensils
- Also, if you like, bring some bumper crop items from your garden to exchange with others
Sunday, September 28 – Central Park – 10 AM to 3 PM
- A reuseable mug and container to buy treats from Palisades
- Cash to support our eco-friendly vendors
- Bring the following items to tinker on with the help of our Repair Cafe volunteers (note: check the schedule closer to the date for specific times of when different volunteers will be available)
- Clothing or other mending repairs
- Small furniture (that you can carry yourself upstairs) and wood repair projects
- Small appliances
- Glerups or other wool slippers (or come without them and learn how to mend them between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.)
- Basic jewellery repairs (e.g., missing earring hook, chain link) and sterling silver and brass jewellery that needs polishing
- Blundstones for a freshen up and to learn about leather care
- A blank shirt, tote bag or another piece of untextured fabric to upcycle with on of our special event linocuts
- A book you no longer want to fill our pop-up free little library
Sunday, September 28 – Smithers Brewing Company – 6 PM Movie night
- Bring your own bowl to purchase popcorn
- A repurposed project you’re proud of that you want to show others
